Richard Delmonico, PhD
Richard L. Delmonico has been working in rehabilitation and neuropsychology for more than three decades. He is Chief of Neuropsychology at the Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center, a position he has held since 1998. He is also Regional Lead for Neuropsychology Services for Kaiser Permanente Northern California, and Associate Clinical Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of California Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Delmonico previously worked as a neuropsychologist with the Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems Program at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Dr. Delmonico is a member of the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Network of the Bay Area and the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Neurological Society. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of California, and is a past president of the Northern California Neuropsychology Forum. His research, publications, and professional presentations have focused on substance abuse, sexuality, and the emotional and behavioral consequences for persons with traumatic brain injury, stroke, and dementia, as well as the service needs of these populations.
