A Cyclist with the Post-Concussion Syndrome

Seth Fischer, BS

Seth Fischer is a fourth-year medical student at the University of California/Davis School of Medicine. He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado, with a major in economics, and post-baccalaureate pre-medical studies at Mills College. Seth suffered a concussion while riding his bicycle near the UC Davis campus in Sacramento, California in 2015. He recounts the difficulties he had because of the post-concussion syndrome, and what he learned that might be helpful to others after a concussion. Seth worked as an anesthesiology technician prior to medical school, and he plans a career in pediatric anesthesiology.
