Dr. Elizabeth Sandel has worked in the fields of physiatry and brain injury medicine and contributed research to advance the care and treatment of people with brain injuries and strokes for almost four decades. Having provided care to many TBI and mild TBI patients in hospitals and outpatient clinics on the East and West Coast, she is considered an expert in these fields. She seeks to spread accurate and up-to-date information to the general public through her book, Shaken Brain, and through this website.
