Ernie Bryant is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist who has been in practice for 34 years. On completion of his post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology in 1983, Dr. Bryant worked in the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Hospital in Martinez, California, evaluating and treating patients with brain injuries, chronic medical diseases, and psychiatric disorders. In 1989, Dr. Bryant assumed the role of the Director of Neuropsychology Services at the Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, California, and assisted in the development of a dedicated inpatient acute brain injury rehabilitation unit. He also served on the Northern California Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Advisory Board, developing local and regional treatment programs for post-acute brain injury patients.
In 1998 Dr. Bryant assumed the role of Director of Clinical Services for Paradigm Outcomes, a position he continues to hold. As Director of Clinical Services, Dr. Bryant has an administrative role, overseeing and working with Case Management Teams across the United States who are focused on optimizing the functional recovery of catastrophically injured workers (brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, severe body trauma, complex amputations, and severe burns.) During his years at Paradigm, Dr. Bryant has also served as the Director of Research with a focus on assessing the efficacy of Paradigm’s Systematic Care Management model.
Dr. Bryant has also maintained a private practice in forensic neuropsychology for 34 years and has published articles and presented numerous papers at local and national conferences on topics related to neuropsychology, brain injury rehabilitation, and management of catastrophic injuries.
